Schoenrock Hydraulik Marine Systems opens new factory

On December 4th 2018 Schoenrock’s new factory was officially opened by IMS group main shareholder Rolf Nilsen and Tornesch’s mayor Sabine Kählert. “The new factory has been built to accommodate a major contract worth 15 million euros that Schoenrock landed with the Malaysian Navy this year, and on the way ahead we will continue to focus on the Navy segment”, says CEO Roy Langseth, IMS group AS. The 4,200 sqm new factory is located 30-40 km outside Hamburg: Lise-Meitner-Allee 11, 25436 Tornesch, Germany, and meets the standards and demands of the quality minded customer.  Vital features of the new facilities are higher fences and windows placed higher on the walls. In addition, all visitors must pass through a safety zone, all in line with what is expected for a factory that shall produce for the Navy.
